Mt. Lion Hoax in Pike Co.
Hi guys,
I got this in the mail, and was somewhat surprised. Someone's trail camera in Pike County supposedly caught this picture, (whichturned out to beB.S.) I have yet to talk with the guy that submitted the photo, kind of mad he lied that it came from here. Don't knowwhere it's really from, but would liketo know.
The temperature is dropping to 35 degrees overnight tomorrow (Thursday morning), and it looks like it'll be on like Donkey Kong here. Woo hoo! I'm sneaking out for 1 1/2 hrs. tomorrow before class, which I've been neglecting matters in, but can you blame me?
-Sincerely,
Rob

RE: Unusual Pike Co. Critter: Check this out!
Damn. *sigh* Thanks for the info, at least we know the truth now.
I'll put my other foot in my mouth. Guess I should have made for certain that thing was from around here before I posted it. I'm going to tell the guy that sent me this photo it's a hoax. That thing might as well have Jane Fonda next to her then, cuz it most likely didn't come from around here.
Thanks Pat, I appreciate you filling us in.

Also...look at the pines in the photo....the deadfall and the dry habitat and vegetation , not local to Illinois....this is a western environment photo....the sage / catclaw brush is a dead giveaway as well.....
