Wisconsin Gun Season - Are you ready?

Hey everyone, new to the board here. Opening day is approaching ever so slowly, and slower with each passing day. So is everyone ready?

Am I ready? Boy am I. If all goes well the trip north will take place Thursday morning. The perfect combo - a badly needed vacation and Deer Hunting.

nope, not ready yet. I even have to load up some bullets for the hunt. I used most of what I had for making sure I was sighted in. Need to get the gear together....although, it shouldn't be too hard since I haven't unpacked from my elk hunting trip yet. Mentally, I am ready and would leave tomorrow if it wasn't for work and the girlfriend, and oh yeah bowhunting this weekend... should be good!
I'm heading to the Webster area.

good luck and shoot straight

Lots and lots of big bucks in my area were already shot during the "T-zone" hunt including a 30 pointer (ya,da turdty pointer) that a cousin has on video and camera. When you see dozens of 3-5 year old bucks lined up at registration stations it makes the real "gun opener" less than thrilling. I do hope to get a shot though, I found some new hornaday ammo that my .270 really loves, 5 shot group covered by a quarter, dead even L-Right and 2" high at 100 yards. That's about perfect in my book.
