Shooting bucks this time of year with a rifle in these zones just isn't ethical even if its legal just a slaughter. Heard way to many negative comments from hunters and non huters alike. Not to mention when so called hunters are talking in front of the general public about their so called trophys and spoutting foolish things like the buck are so dumb it's just like shooting fish in a barrel. Really kind of sad. Shows that there are a number of so called sprtsman that the kill is the only thing.

Yup, I'm ready, goin up on Thursday before opening, to the Cable-Drummond area, stay on lake Namakagon !!!

ready for gun season with my new rifle and then maybe some late bow season after that. shot a doe during reg bow season but never found her-hit a pocket between shoulder and lungs/heart

Yes, I'm itchin' to get out but more so for my 9 yr. old going with me. He's really pumped up about hunting which is great. We hunt in Monroe Cty.
