I had a button buck come through at around 8 this morning. Then a squirrel was driving me nuts at around 10. I decided to shoot at him when he was 20 yds away on the ground. I shot, and 3 deer ran off from about 40 yards out.
I've come to terms with being a moron. LOL
Anybody do any good?????

Didn't have any luck in the Morning. In the evening I had a doe give me one of those shots you can't refuse and since I was hunting in a 3 deer county I went ahead and filled a doe tag...

Opening day I saw one doe in the morning. I knew the deer would be moving early in the afternoon so I got to my spot by 2:00. At 4:00 3 doe moved in to the area and began feeding on acorns. By 4:45 I had about 11 or 12 deer in the general area feeding on acorns. All doe and fawns and I figured the bucks would be coming in shortly. Well, by 5:20 some idiot walks in on me and ran em all off. Oh well, such is hunting on public land???? I stayed until about 6:45 and didn't see another deer. I think I am gonna go fishing today! LOL

In the morning I saw a doe with her fawn and she must have heard me or something cuz she and the fawn ran off but they weren't that spooked cuz their tails weren't up. Then at night I saw the same two deer again and The doe winded me and wasted no time on getting out of there. I had scent blocker on and I don't know how she winded me. She snorted twice then took off.

Sat. morning...nothing except squirrels n chipmunks!! A bunch of em!!! Around noon... a groundhog... Finally at 6:15 a house cat comes w/in 20 yds. n sits on this log waiting for a chance at a chipmunk...as soon as the cat gets situated... a doe comes downwind from me n passes by at 12 yards...I pass and then the doe circles back and is face to face w/ this cat at 20 yds. I draw on the doe and just say "You're done" and let down...The doe and cat get face to face sniffing eachother... That was it but it made my whole day because I coulda... but i didn't. GOOD LUCK TO OHIO BOWHUNTERS IN UPCOMING HUNTING DAYS
