Default Hunting Battle of the Midwest (Trophy Room)

So far here are the groups. They may change if we get a lot more people to sign up, but they're fairly even now...

When you get a deer reply on here and I'll post it under your group, make sure you have the appox. score of the deer(if its a buck) and the feild-dressed weight. At the end of the seasons I'll add up the points and then see who wins.

The point system will be like this: ex.
score 135 + weight 170 = 305
score 155 + weight 180 = 335
doe --------weight 115 = 115
----------------- total = 755

Unless anybody can think of a better scoring system, I'm open to any suggestions. Good luck hunting!

Group #1Kansas, Missouri
1.Booches- score 165 3/8 + 190 = 355 3/8 points
2.gunner8541- score 139 5/8 + 200 = 339 5/8 points
3.BClark/cbanman- score 131 6/8 + 200 = 331 6/8 points
total= 1026 6/8

2.fl bruin- score 166 + 221 = 387 points
3.deadcenter- score 125 + 185 = 310 points
total= 1090 1/8

Please! I agree with Nick Bales, put Iowa in with Illinois!

That scoring system sounds OK to me, but is the weight live or dressed?
And, if weight counts in the score, should`nt it be actual weight, no guessing?

I thought about but, Illinios and Iowa would be about 1/3 of the people, not saying the Kansas boys couldn't takem' though. j/k

Yeah we're putting doe and buck both together. So a doe would most likely get knocked out if 3 bucks were taken within the group, but if there wasn't 3 buks taken then the score of the doe would help a lot comnpared to 0. The reason I'd rather have dressed wieght is because most people weigh the deer after it's already feild-dressed, they do around here anyways.

JUSTINL, let me know of the approx. score of the buck you took and i'll put it up.Visit My Hunting Page

Hey, Iowa and Illinois might have more people, but everyone knows that Wisconsin and Kansas have the big bucks!

kshunter, i shot an 8 point on sunday morning. It was getting warm when we got him home, and honestly, taking pictures was not on the top of my priority list. we got him skinned out and iced down as quick as we could.

So, i am working on the story and will get that posted, and pictures of the rack/skull plate are at wal-mart, but i have no scanner, and no way to post the pics, i'll need to mail them to somebody.

according to your scoring system--- weight-160/rack-100.

i'll work on getting everything else in order. thanks

one more thing, if somebody would e-mail me their home address so i can mail them some pics, use this addy- [email protected] because my email is not working, thanks

This doe had a 4x4 with her but she busted me - then I had to eliminate the squealer!!!
