Anybody seen a pic of the buck Craig Morgan ("Redneck Yacht Club" singer)killed in Morgan Co. Ilthis past week? Supposably it's the 2nd largest killed on film with a bow? 190+. I saw a small clip of it in an archery shop, didn't know if it all over the web yet or not.

From my understanding this buck was taken at Timberland Outfitters with owner Ben Plattner. Should be on an HS video next year!

I thought the same thing, but pictures can be very deceiving sometimes. It would help to have another angle of the rack but this is all I could find.

That's a nice buck, but I'd also agree that's it's not a 190 class buck. 170 tops! None the less, a beautiful whitetail!!

Nice buck. I think it might gross into the 190's after you add on all of the other points. It just looks a lot smaller because it has about a 140 class frame. But the more I think about it, I don't see 50 inches of extra points. Oh well, regardless, it's a nice buck.

I live in morgan county and haven't heard a peep about it. I do, however, have quite a few connections in the taxidermy/outfitting scene, so I'll see what I can find out. I've been shelling corn for what seems like 30 days straight so I'm alittle out of the loop. if i could hear a little more about a location that would be great.



A guy that i went to highschool with that now works at alocal beer distributor was at one of his stops at a small town gas station and seessome guy pumping gas with a monster in his truck bed. he walks over to him, starts asking about the deer, and is like,'wait, you're craig morgan' and i guess craig is just like,'yeah, i am' real modest like. kind of rare to see a celeb pumping his own gas with a deer in his truck.
