It's raining finally!!!! Probably too late for any crops to take effect, the corn is shot around here, The beans MAY get some use out of it. Raining where your at?

Yep rained here today, hopefully more tomorrow. We sure needed it a little earlier. Corn around here is almost all brown and the cobs are still pretty small.

Today it rained a bit in the morning but Thursday and Friday we got around 1.5 inches total... This, along with the heavy rain we got a couple weeks ago has actually sparked the pastures to start growing!. too late for the crops and really, the pastures and hay ground are shot too but might be a nice boost for fall growth if it can keep up for the next 2-3 weeks without another huge heat up... We shall see... I hate saying this and it is hard to believe but we actually have mud here and there.

Yep... Raining here in central MO today to. It's great!!!! We have gotten about 1.3 inches here at the family farm. Although I talked to the landowner I hunt on in north central MO and they have gotten close to 5 inches since last night. I'm off work this next week so I am going to be getting my fall plots in.

It absolutely poured here this evening! I looked out across the field and couldn't see a thing.....it was a wall of rain blowing horizontally!
