Wisconsin Hunting Land: 120 Acres for sale in Rusk County, Wisconsin.
Here’s a 120 acre hunting camp that has been managed via QDMA principles (land/habitat enhancement, deer harvest, nutrition, etc) for the past 10 years. The acreage is 95% wooded - mostly high with a good mix of rolling hardwoods, pine ridges, and some tag alder along the creek bed. In addition, hundreds of wildlife enhancing trees planted throughout the past 5 years - including apple trees, oak, walnut, cedar, spruce, etc.
The land offers excellent hunting and habitat for deer, grouse, bear, turkey, geese, ducks, beaver, etc. Quality Deer and Bear Management has been practiced on the land since 1999 and a large majority of the neighbors practice similar management plans. All of the surrounding land is private, but there are thousands of acres of public land ~5 miles north of the property.
Road frontage is via a county road (1/4 mile frontage) and a gravel road (3/4 mile frontage) providing excellent access to all portions of the property.
The cabin –constructed in 1997 – has electric power, electric heat, and comfortably sleeps 8 hunters. Many permanent deer stands are in place and a variety of secluded food plots are already established.
Email for additional information – aerial, topo maps, pics, etc.
$296,500.
