Story is complete BS. Look at his setup...... When we shoot 50lb fish we normally try to back each other up with another arrow and even then get rope burn and cuts. No way did he land this fish by himself with that setup.

That recurve doesn't look like a real heavy one and he would have to had to hit that gar's scales at just the right spot to get enough penetration to hold that beast with a single arrow, that much for sure.

There is just no way he shot and landed that fish with that set up unless he was in a boat that could keep up with it. have you wateched the video of Keith and Robin shooting and landing their monster gar. does'nt look like 30 feet of line on that reel. I THINK THERE IS A LOT MORE TO THE STORY.
