The Brass Carp Shoot (fun shoot) has been moved to Clinton Lake on July 17th. It will be an evening shoot (so we don't all fry). Mascoutin boat ramp.

I'm thinking we'll start at 9pm and go until 1am but I'm open to other ideas. Let me know what you think!

There will be the awarding of the Coveted Brass Carp and a couple other small prizes. There is no entry fee, no payout.. this is for fun and bragging rights mostly.

I just wanted to say thanks to the guys that made it out to this even with the last minute change. Thanks!

C. Robbins easily smoked us with the most fish. (we divided the number of fish up by the numbers of shooters on each boat.) The carp were being hard to find with the murked up water. Still all five boats managed to stick some fish. K, Deb and I won the Brass Carp. The Le Roy Hole-in-the-Head gang got the hard luck door prizes of an arrow each. We gave out a couple other arrows, shirts, hats, pins and such.

Everybody also got a door prize of at least a dozen freshly picked ears of sweet corn.
