Well if the bowfishing Gods will stop blowing the wind so bad I may have to test the boat out.....and shoot a couple of fish too....

I think the west ramp will be the victim....

Gee.. I thought it was weird that you really wanted to get out bowfishing but were going to wait a whole week. Then again... it's you we're talking about.

Good luck out there.

Kendall just came in from working on the boat. I noticed some lightning off to the west and wondered if it was going to scare you off.

We are going to hit Clinton tonight. The winds are going to be only 5mph out of the southwest..The only thing we can hope for is clear water....We will see..

That just really stunk!...Well I suppose it was a gear checking outing anyway. I have been using the 225 ultras for 5 years and never burned one out....Last night we burned 2 up within 10 min....other than that I did find out I needed another trolling motor plug. For some reason it pretty much melted straight off. Ended up having to push pole out of the last cove ...

To top the entire night off, the water visibility was around 3 inches if you were lucky, saw about a dozen fish. The only fish that was brought in was a green one..... On the good side of it was that I stuck 3. One pull off, one rock fish, and one green one. I guess the "Thunder Chicken" did it's job!
