Shot this guy out my kitchen window. Have a road kill staked down at 214 yds. He made the mistake of coming in around 9am for a snack. Like kendall said shot him with .270 and 110 gr Hornaday V-Max. My buddy Tommy Mac skinned him out to make a arrow quiver out of him. Had a good hide. We weighed him and he tipped the scale at a even 50#. That is a big one, sure we saved a few deer with this one.

I havent been on the forum in a while so I thought I would catch up. Shot this coyote a few weeks ago. Used my swedish mauser 6.5 x 55 with a 9 power scope. She came right in to the ecall. I was actually watching 2 other coyotes in my scope about 400yds out. Looked over to my left and she was staring right at me from about 30 yards out. I moved and she took off running. At about 60 yards she stoped and turned broadside and that was all she wrote.
