Who is all going?

Anyone want to do a little pre scouting on Saturday? I plan on being down there around 3 or 4 on Saturday afternoon. I don't think I can sit in the cabin all evening with the lake being right there....LOL

As far as the tourney goes, I will be bringing my newbie cousin for a cheri poppin experience ..(shootin fish that is!)

I will take 10 - 1 odds that he is hooked before we even shove off!

We'll probably go down there Saturday. Probably.

Well I finally made it down here to the campground by Rend's spillway....Of course it wouldn't be a bowfishing story without some carnage!...



After what should have been a 3 hour trip turned into more like a 4.25 hr trip....

I checked into the cabin, unhooked the boat and went straight to the spillway....The gar were there in numbers, but the bigheads were a little shy...I managed to connect with this one..



Shot prolly 10 or so gar and as I was leaving, I stuck this cute little grassie..

We're on our way down. So far (knock on wood) our only challenge is finding something decent on the radio. Currently singing cheesily along to REO Speedwagon. Just got done listening to some sort of yodeling/polka on an am station but it static'ed out.
