Turkeysniper

Kendall and I went to Brown county to chase turkeys for 3 days (mornings). On the second morning a group of 2 toms and 2 jakes circled our two blinds. They kept safely out of a shooting opportunity for me but offered Kendall a 30 yard now-or-never shot. He drilled one of the toms with a pink fletched, muzzy tipped arrow.
Waayy cool!
I never did get to shoot but it was a cool trip.
Congrats to Carpsniper for proving he can snipe more than carps.

Thebird had a 9" beard and according to K, it weighed about 80lbs. (it gained about 20lbs eachtime he had to itcarry up and down a ravineon the wayback to the truck.)
Now, we have to get ready for some fish shooting this weekend.

Nice shooting there, Kendall.
I'll even give you a pass on the pink fletch... this time.
Congrats!
30 yards under pressure is a great shot, even if the bird was as big as 80 pounds.

Dude! The pink fletch was all part of the master plan. No self respecting Tom could bear to be shot with a pink flecthed arra. It was the shame that killed him. Wellllllllll...that and a Muzzy three blade.
