Last year, K and I were going to go to KY for a couple of shoots and over to the east coast for stingrays and then down to Texas for some big buffs and gator gar. Well, gas prices shot up and instead of travelingwe bought anewtractor. [8D]

The tractor is cool and fun (it's still like a toy)butif gas prices stay down we may head off in search ofshootable fish.

For sure, Kendall is on abowfin quest. He has yet toland a bowfin. (he shot one down in KY but the fish did astunning backwardtriple flip and threw the arrow)

I'm looking for a redhorse sucker or hog sucker so we haveone entered for our records. (who named these fish??)

Anybody have any grand plans or goals for this year?

HMMMM my goals for this year are simple.....

I want to shoot that dag blasted Koi

I don't want to lose anything else in Davie Jone's Locker

I want to shoot silvers with that special someone who promised me

My biggest goal for the last 2 years is to shoot a bighead. Another gar over 4' would be great, but I don't want to get greedy.

Two goals:
1. I would like to shoot a bighead on the Des Plaines river (like Bulzeye).
2. Double my participation in tournaments (I shot the Grill and Drill last year).

I am out to break my own personal records and to get lots of silvers this year. I love the aerial shooting. I would like to also get some nice size gar this year.

get the outboard running
get the genny running
keep the troller running
find a place for all of the crap I stored in my boat so I can actually USE it.

BTW Kendall, Mark and I saw several bowfin in the calm areas below the dam at Rend last spring. Got a decent one about 10 feet out from shore in just inches of clear water.

That should be right at the top of the list. Followed closely by don't off anyone else who doesn't clearly deserve offing and 3rd ...Don't get caught offing said offender...

Two simple goals. #1. Shoot as many big heads as I can.
#2. Beat Snuffys grass carp
#3. Make sure KBI-Prez shoots at least one Big head, so the rest of us can have some peace and quiet.
Well I guess that is 3 goals but who is counting.

#4 shoot a buffalo over 40lb probaly the most unlikely of the 4 for me. i have a buff jinx and now i find out i have a pig jinx...
