What software are you using for the newsletter's Christine? Are there funds available to help with the printing of the letters? Like having them professionally printed or paying for a printer? I'm interested.

I was using corel printshop. It's fairly basic and easy to use. Downside is that it doesn't easily transfer over to anything. Unless you also have printshop, you couldn't open a file I email to you.
I'm now using a trial version of Microsoft publisher. It's very powerful but it has a bit of a learning curve to it. (and I'm an old dog, these new tricks take me awhile to learn..) I believe that I can save many files in a format that anybody with ms word can open them.
Speaking of which, I think I figured out why I can't print the newsletter two-sided. I have to configure my printer. I guess it was configured for printshop but not publisher. That should be easy to change.
The club does pay for most of the newsletter/paper/toner. Per newsletter price is pretty low right now, at least until the printer needs new drums. We've asked around for outside printing prices but at it's cheapest it's more than twice what it costs to print right now.
Any help you can offer with the newsletter would be most appreciated. Thanks.

And what if someone were to offer to take care of the newsletter completely? Would you be willing to relinquish your powers? Would that individual get the printer in question?
