Default Winter Makeovers ?????

Its just to quiet on this site!!!! Someone must be doing or thinking about doing something to there boat.You still have about 3 months to get 'em done before the Billy Davis Memorial Tournament at Rend.
So what are you doing?? Trading boats? New troller? Painting your boat? Maybe a rewire or new light job? New genny? New tow vehicle? Maybe you are finally going to grease your wheel bearing this year that you have been putting off? New fan project. Maybe trading your air boat for a fan boat? Fan boat for an air boat? Lets hear what you are going to do so the rest of us can make some changes to keep up with you.

I am thinking about a camo paint job. The more I keep touching up the old paint that keep coming off the more it is taking on a camo job.
Thinking about trying some HPS lights
I did purchase a jack plate to let me get father back into the shallow coves, just need to get it put on.

I was going to order up three HPS lights just to try them outbut the company that I have been trying to get them thru, continues to be out of them and their backorder dates seem to come and go without any new lights. Oh well.

I think I'm doing everything on your list Dave! Just finishing up the new shop now so I can get Big Woody in and finished. I discovered #3 hole on the 115 Mercury has a melted piston. I think I'm going to have just that cylinder bored with a hone and ring job in the other 5. I've never heard of boring only one butthe in-line 6 guys have said it's no problem. I believe the motor is an 87' model. Found out in 87' they rated horsepower at the prop. So realistically it should have around 130hp. Should be scary fast on a lightweight flatbottom. I'm guessing 55 with perfect conditions!

Is your jackplate manual or electric Dave? I've been thinking about putting one on also.

I'll get pictures up soon as I can.

All I have to do on my boat is find a better prop. Mine is not cutting it.

I'm waiting on Mark to get his shop done so I can help him with his boat. And I'm wanting to take this stupid putty rest off my recurve. I swear I miss more now with that than I did when I just had my riser filled in and I shot off the shelf.

I also have a couple ideas about steering more people towards our shoots, if not the club itself. But I'll wait to see how that all plays out before I post on it here.

If that idea ispaying $10,000to win in our shoots, I'm afaird that we may have to limit the amount of entrants in our shoots. We would not have enough club member to handle the crowd control and no paking lot/ramp could handle all the boats.

Mark;
I found a nice used CMC electric one on Ebay for about 1/3 of new. Those new jackplates are expensive.
Sure would like to see some more pics of your boat in progress.
