Just talked to Fishpoint.
Area 2 first (on Blodgett by steel bridge), then by main boat launch if slow.

We got out today. It was a nice sunny morning, but the fish knew we were coming. Clear skies, muddy water, and REALLY sneaky fishies.

Suckersticker, Fishpoint, his daughter Megan, and myself enjoyed a very quiet morning at DPCA. The water looked so perfectly still that even the fish didn't want to disturb it.Suckersticker even tried wading out into the pads to scare something up, but to no avail.

This was Megan's first bowfishing outing, and she got introduced to just how well those barbed points grab every branch and vine within 20 feet when you're walking the shore.

We'll get her out on a boat soon to go chase down a few victims without all the snags.

PS. Rumor is that she likes hanging out with guys in rubber pants.

Well you spoke too soon. After we parted ways i decided to run to the fisherman acess down kelly road and as soon as i got there i ran into this guy:

It was like Jaws. He had a vengence. He was coming right for me while i was entering the water. It was terrifying LOL. I had to defend myself so i shot, catching him right in the upper left temperal lobe of his caranium. After the hit i was relieved knowing i was now safe. Hahahahahahahaha he never even saw it coming.

P.S. Chris thanks for the help with the pictures it is really easy now.

Cool. Happy to hear you're OK, and glad you got one.
Gotta go for the head shots on those big ones.

Looks like a girly-fish with eggs?
If so, we're still pre-spawn and there is still hope to catch them being stupid.

I ALMOST made it out to join you guys this morning, but I'm shooting for tomorrow...WITH my new boat. I lost some time working on it yesterday because of the rain. Anyways, I'm glad to hear you all had some fun at least. And I can't believe Judd has a daughter in her teens!! You poor guy...

Nice shootin' there William.

A 'quiet' day at the DCA is the key word. It was great to meetWilliam and I'm glad to see someonehad success.

I was really hoping to hitthe spawn but it was nice morning anyway. Megan said she is up for another adventure and she said she had a lot of fun. She really liked the picture - thanks Chris.

Steve - in another six months Iwill have a daughter in her 20's!
