I think the grillin' is at 5pm.
My crew should be in the area by 2 or 3, but I plan to visit a friend in the next town over for a bit, so not sure exactly.

Then I check the fuse box on the truck and found out it was a blown fuse all along.
I got one of those hitch wiring plug tester thingies. It has leds that show you if the output from the truck is working properly, so you know if the problem is in the car or the trailer before yo have to break out the voltmeter, make 3 trips to the store, and rewire everything.
I'd let you use it, but this is SO much more fun.

If you had seen our wiring harness, you'd see why we blamed it first. (did one of those; forget to plug it in and let it drag along the ground for a few counties.)
We had a voltage tester, and it showed there was power from the truck to the socket.
It's a 9-pin socket so we have to use an adapter.Kendall was blaming the adapter for the lack of voltage through it.
Then I turned all the lights off and there was still power coming from the truck.
This is why we're not electricians.
