    Default New Texas Bowfising Record???
    Hey guys and Gals, I need some help. I believe this fish is a shortnose gar. It looks like all the other gar I have shot before. All of them have been shortnose. Ihave never shot a long nose, spotted or alligator Gar. If this is, in fact, a shortnose gar it beats the official Texas state record!

    This fish is 38 1/4" and weighs 11 1/2 pounds. Let me know what yall (Texas talk) think.

    Did you get it weighed on a certified scale?
    I don't know what the TBA requires.
