Nice shooting guys.

Me and some friends of mine went up to Minocqua Wisconsin for some icefishing. We caught a bunch of perch, which wasn't what we were after, but it was better than nothing. And perch taste SOOOO good!!

Anyway, we left friday-morning, so couldn't meet you anyhow. Looks like you had a good day.

Christine & Kendall, Boy i still cannot get over you guys shooting that many fish in only 2 hours. that is one fish every 2 minutes. You must not have missed any. I sent this post to a lot of buddies and they just are amaized that you can shoot fish this time of the year. Hope you get out again but if not what a way to cap off the year..still in awe.

WOW!!! Nice haul! I haven't been shooting in a while and that makes me really want to go right now (I'd have to chop thru the ice up here).

I did get a new .22 for Christmas...can't wait to use it.

Hope everyone had a nice Christmas and have a great New Year!

RE: This Friday Clinton Lake

ORIGINAL: carpsniper

The picture of the "No wake" bouy does not do justice to the fog. We were almost on top of that bouy when Christine took that picture. I thought I could just watch the lights from the ramp to navigate across the lake and get out of the wind. We lost sight of the light so fast that soon I was going in circles in the middle of the lake. I wonder where we would have gone if Christine hadn't brought the GPS.

"looking for someone who might be willing to show me the ropes. " You're in luck Jon, that's what we do here. It may be a few weeks before we get out there again though.
Cool, I'm stoked.:D
