Default lake shelbyville

went to shelbyville on the 15th lake on the north end is muddy but the gar are rolling. lake is up almost at summer pool.
day time is real slow not to many on the banks. but the buff's are out in deep water schooled up if you can get close you may get 1 or2 before theyspook.
night time is real good right now with the gar being the best.
see all of you at the steak and dog shoot. good times to be had shooting fish and seeing club friends.

Default RE: lake shelbyville

I went to Lake Shelbyville yesterday 8/16/07. We got rained out but had about 3 hours on the water at the south end. We put in at wolf creek. The water is as clear as I have ever seen it. But no fish. We put 2 carp in the boat. Only seen one small gar. Best I can figure it the storm front had them down. I mean it poured. The water is really warm too. Hoping for better shooting next weekend.
