Does this mean we can expect an 'attack'from the Plastic Armada?! Where's my 55-gallon plastic drum and paddle?

Judd, if you're interested Christine says we can bring a canoe for you to use. (She doesn't want to be the only one. Ha ha)

I was thinking of building a 'duck boat.' It is made from those pink 4'x8' sheets of foam insulation; project plan is on the internet and it cost <$300 to make. Perfect for my budget.

OK, now I have to go. Can't miss seeing that.

Noteworthy Tidbit: If you bring a lightweight boat, also bring a small anchor-type-o-thing. Even a moderate breeze will mess with you, especially when standing up.

In the two previous late summer shoots, the numbers were a lot lower than what's taken in the early June shoots. In June the carp are spawning so they tend to ignore the arrows being flung at them compared to the wary feeding carp you'll see in August.

So, your goal should be to get as many as possible. I think the most taken by a boat last August was maybe around 20 fish. Most boats brought in less than ten.

It's very challenging to get close enough to them. (You'll really hate the carp by time you're done.)
