Took my buddy Cliff out today for the 6th time. Well he finally broke the ice and nailed a nice buffalo and one gar. We ended up with 5 buffalo and 2 gar. Could not get over the difference in the river since yesterday. Was at least a foot higher, and not near as many fish. Must have rained up stream somewhere, but what was strange the water calrity was still the same, about 14 inchs at the most.

One thing that I noticed is that the lower and sluggish the river gets the more active the buffallo feed. I havent been out for a few days because I have lost my last arrow, the fifth one this year. I shot a big grass carp and didnt want to horse him to bad because Im bad at pulling the arrows out of them, and it must of found a tree or somthing because I couldnt budge him. I cut my line and tied it off to a branch so I could come back and try to work it out later, because I was on my Lunch break. Well I went back the next day and couldnt get it loose but the fish is still on there because when I give it slack the line starts jumping around from it tugging. Im half tempted to buy some scuba gear. Good luck to ya
