Finally Done

OK, it is simple but it is done and it is mine
. Wen genny from Menards, (6) 500w Lights from Lowes and all of the junction boxes, pvc, wire and the rest of the goods also from Lowes. The best part of all the entire project only ran right around $570!
Once I figure out how to post pics I will get them posted.

Nice going, sounds like you did a nice job, and pretty reasonable too. Looking forward to the pictures. I never stop working on my boat. Right now I am fighting trailer light's. never ending job. Now got to move my batteries and get covers on them. I have two large Military batteries for my 24 volt troller. they are so heavy that my 25 hp cannot get up on plane with me and a buddy in the boat. THinking of moving them to the middle of the boat. So I can booogy better. Hate having to use so large of batteries but that is all that i have found that will last all day. so far have yet to run them down,so actually do not know how long they will last.

Thanks. I like to think it turned out pretty good. As for the trolling motor, I am partial to having a 12 volt motor and battery and one spare to go along with it. I find I am good for at least 10-12 hours of continual trolling with a switch of the batters about mid-stream.
I have toyed around with this thing for so long and I still have not figured out how to decrease the size of the pics so I can post. I see some use "photobucket". I guess if I ever figure out that one I will get em posted from there. One way or another I will get it done.

OK, I think I have this thing licked now. Let's try this.....
A place for everything and everything in its place......

This is the way the lights are hooked up. They are easily removable for when the family goes out with me during the day.

The cord stretches out to the genny (about 4 ft) then retracts back into place right next to the GFI outlet.

This is the view from inside the boat standing from the back.

Great rig Ken!
Looks like you've been taking light-mounting lessons from Robow.
That's the first time I've seen I've seen a retracto-cord. Pretty slick.

Ken;
The boat loooks great. Bet you can't wait to get some slime on that carpet. I had carpet on my old Bowfishing Boat and it really takes a beating and washes off great. I do want to know if that good looking paint job on your trailer glows in the dark. Sure would be nice to be able to find your trailer in the dark at some of those ramps without lights.
Sure would like to see your Bowfishing team at the Illinois Bowfishers State Championship. Will you be there to represent Bloomington, IL. ?????

LOL....yea the trailer is pretty bright; I can't go anywhere and hide [:-].
The carpets in this boat have had sooooooo many flatheads and channels flopping on it leaving behind their lovely presents and blood and it always seems to come clean at the carwash with the pressure sprayers.
Unfortunately I will miss out on the state tourney. I am on the board of the Mclean County Sportsmen Association and we have our annual fishing derby here in Bloomington. It is a free fishing tourney just for kids. We stock the lake and loan out equipment to those kids who's families cannot afford it. The kids have a blast and win prizes for their efforts.....
Maybe next year!
