I have a couple more pictures (the winners).

We did have a good time. It was fun to talk with the folks from BowfishUSA who I haven't met before.

The only bummer was that somewhere in KY we became lighter by one generator and one full tool box. I think it was at the boat ramp. We were sooo tired we couldn't tell up from down. I stared at the bed of the truck for a while trying to figure out why there was more room than I remembered. Then it dawned on me that the little genny was missing. Same with Kendall's tool box. I guess we donated it to some local meth addicts or something. Oh well. If you're going to bowfish tired, lock up your stuff while you're still coherent. That's the lesson.

Ugh. Nowwe have to scrape up the money to pay for anothergenny and tools.[:@] (need tools more than the genny)

The bowfishing below the dam was great though. You could see bigheads six feet down. I really wanted to beat that 21lb mark. (My biggest fish were a 21lb bighead and a 21lb common carp)
I got a 33lb 5oz bighead. Yippee!
This is me trying to hold it up. I'm such a wuss.

That must really be something to see, all those boats and huge fish.
Wish I could have met up with the BFUSA crowd.

That sucks about the stolen stuff. [:@][:@]
Maybe you should file a police report. After all, that kind of thing never ever happens.

Probably just some locals feeding their habit though, like you said.

Seeing those huge grassies was cool. But not nearly as cool as it would have been to get a shot at one.
I have never seen so many BIG fish as we did at KY dam. If you have a chance get down there. (and lock your stuff up) You can literally shoot 'til your arm is sore. My goal this weekend is to see how many we can get in the boat. 1000? 2000? Probably not.

Especially when they're this size! 16 fish filled our two barrels.

My solution?..... bring more barrels!!! heh heh heh

Wow! Great fish and some incredible boats. I think I've got less in my truck than some of those guys have in their bowfishing rigs.

No one with a canoe, huh? Cowards!

Wow that conjures up a mental image of a guy holding on for dear life when the airboats blast off around him.
Then skiing behind an 80 pound grass carp. Hmmmm maybe coward isn't the correct term!

I believe the word you are seaching for is 'thrill-seeker'.
That's my story anyway.
