HPS lights are in interesting creature. A 150 watt HPS lights makes 15000 lumens pulling a little over 3 amp, where as a 500 watt halogen makes 9600 lumens pulling a little over 4 amps. The HPS lights are kinda yellow, where as the Halogens are white. The HPS lights are suposed to penetrate murkey water better, and glare less, than halogens.

Dukmn, I like the way your lights are set up. I am getting ready to put lights in my 16 wide/deep. The only thing is that we also use it as a family recreation boat. It looks as if the light set up you have would be easily made to come off and on easily. What do you think? Also where did you get the bars and lights?
Thanks
Thanks
