Sorry these took so long to get, but here are the fish Drew and I shot at Dawson Lake back on March 25. Ten fish total and big fish was 17 lbs. 6 oz.

Nice fish! It sucks living this far north, there is some action but not much. We're still about a month away from the spawn.

Very nice guys!

There are lotsof fish here, even if we don't get the huge trophies or early spawns that they have further south. Our biggest problem up here is the closed minds that keep us from legally fishing just because we are 'inside city limits' or use a 'weapon' to do our fishing.
Judd, you just wait until it warms up a bit. Get back out to Des Plaines or Buffalo City as soon as it does. You'll be pulling in fish too.

I'd sure like to take the credit for shootin' those brutes, but truth be told I only shot one of them. Drew, a.k.a. Dead-Eye Drew orDrewser The Bruiser, was the one who shot nine of them!

I hate to keep sounding like a broken record, but somebody ought to snatch this "Kid" up for a partner for some tourneys!!!!!!!!

Yeah right up 'til you stick one of those monsters out there. Then he'll be right up there with you wanting to shoot. (better bring an extra bow )

Good Luck! We'll be waiting for a report.

Well I am home now......I smell the same as I went out (not like fish). We ended going all around the lake and did not see a slimie until we made full circle. They were hiding underneath the docks at the marina........if there was one there was 50! I tried to stick one and hit the largest of the bunch......THE DOCK.....OUCH!

The water was cloudy and 52 degrees. Wind was kicking my butt then the sun went into hiding......Could anything else go wrong????

Oh well going back out on Saturday. They are calling for mid 70's and calm. We will see!
