I have previously taken 10 Common Carp on the Sangamon River Bank Bowfishing.
3 Common Carp at Lake Mingo..... the lakewas VERY LOW... to much mud to do much good bank bowfishing... just cant get close enough to the water without the deep mud sucking off my rubber boots... I did catch a few ticks though ALREADY[:'(]
I got 9 Common Carp between the rains and wanted to stay but the Sirens were going off and the sky was full of lightning.....atClinton Lake yesterday for my 1st time really Bank Bowfishing there and found a sweet spot full of Carp Spawning, the Carp are spawning in the shallows.. I shot 4 female commons full of eggs . ..and they are rolling around together in the shallows.... and one of the males when I steped on him to pull out my arrowwas ozzingsperm.
I got my 1st double........... 2 Carp with one shot...... what a blast
and there was no one there to show and share it with me

Chalk up 2 more commons and1 shad from today.
Do the shad count as 2 fish if you blow them in half with the arrow?
