Hey Uncle Dave. Sounds like a good idea. My question is, can my wife be my witness? I'll make her my photographer.

Steve, no problem on having Dina being your witness or your alibi.

I like that idea.

I do a chunk of my fish shooting alone, but there are usually other rod and reel guys around. Could one of them be a witness?

How about Asian carp?(Bighead and Silver)Grass carp?
Is it worth having a contest for every species? I vote for quillback!
Join one two or more at $5 per species.

What about a contest for most carp (all species) for the year?

I think you've got a great idea here. So good, I'm sure it will be copied.

You're right, longest gar. Carp would be by weight.

How about smallest fish taken, as you can see by my largest pike to date, that seems to be my specialty.

That would have made a good lure for my first pike. I don't want to hear you whine too much though, Mr "State record long nose gar" guy.

I think we should do whatever everyone would like to, and the record keeper is willing to keep track of. As Dave said, this is a good way for people who wouldn't shoot a tournament to compete and everyone has an equal chance. Great Idea Dave!
