I'm sure glad that some one finally thought of a new post. I was getting tired of reading about the carpbusters tournament. I just made it. I Filled up the bronco yesterday and the car this morning. Went back into town and could not believe it jumped .36 in on jump. We'd better start looking for big heads in the Wabash.

I thought everybody was still recovering from the carpbusters shoot.
I know it slowed me down for a day or so. I'm still amazed we took almost 1,100 carp in 24 hours.

Gas prices have seriously altered the summer plans for us. Our stingray trip cost us nearly $700 just in gas.

Well, to give an idea, it's 660 miles round trip to KY Lake (minimum) with an afternoon trip back into Paducha for food and supplies. My van gets 15 miles/gal pulling my boat so...that's a minimum of 44 gallons, and when you include a few gallons for generator and outboard, lets say 50 gallons to keep it simple X $3.10 gal, we're talking about $155 just for fuel. In the past we were down there at least once a month or 6 times last year but not anymore.

Great.

By the time I get a boat, I won't be able to afford to tow it anywhere.
