Thank you so much for allowing me to join in on the shooton suchshort notice. I had a wonderful time (sunburn and all)! You truly are a great group of people and I'm glad to be a member of the club. Looking forward to the next event.

Thanks again to Kendall & Christine for all their hard work, and thanks for letting me tag along on your boat. (Chris, you'll have to stay next time. You're a blast)! Can't waitfor the next tourney-I'd like to beat the reigning champs!!!! (even if they did win by default)!
Gotch cha!

Thanks for the kind words. We couldn't do it with out you all. Diana you're always welcome. We're glad to have you as a member.

Steve I couldn't agree more. I was again impressed with how much fun this bunch is to be around. And how much you all pitch in to help.

Thanks Mikey for letting us be a part of Lake Fest '06 and for all the work you did to help us. Mike deserves credit for getting the funds to buy the foam targets and also the funding for the excellent door prizes. He also called around to find and then pick up the genisis bows for use at the booth. Thanks Mike 'fishandgame'

Thanks to Chris 'Bulzeye' for coming down to help even though he couldn't stay for the shootin'. Thanks, hope you get to hang around longer next time.

Thanks to Larry for taking out a very eager newbie.

Thanks to Christine for more help than I can type in a day. The pictures of the fish 'tank' don't capture just how excited those kids were to shoot their first fish. The world youth shoot used this same idea to great success. Christine found the fish and made it happen.

Thanks to Mark and Steve for coming down to shoot when you could have been working on your boat instead of putting your undefeated streak on the line.

A big thank you to uncle Dave too. He stopped by and brought us liquid refreshments when he had much more important things to do.

Thanks to Matt Clark for letting his bro' borrow his boat and thanks to Chris Clark and his buddies for coming over to shoot with us. Hope to see you guys again soon.

If I missed you, I appologize. My bad memory nothing more

If you didn't make it you missed out. Better luck next time.

Almost forgot, the video of the fish-tank. Kinda lame video I guess, but I didn't want to make it too long because I didn't know how it would load up. Wait till next time!

Excellent posts Steve, and good pics.
The video shows that pretty good Steve. Thanks for posting it.

The funny thing aboutthe kid's shooting tankwas that when the crowd finally died out at the end of the day, we were all shooting in the tank too. [8D]

I know that you had a good time CHEZHead kept me posted.
I had a great time. I love teaching, and I was having so much fun that Mark S. had to remind me to eat lunch. Iwaded in the water so many times to retrieve arrows from the fish target that I wore off all of the sunscreen on my calves, and I have proof. It was well worth it, but my dog thinks it's funny to slap them with his tail as he walks by.

By the way JohnnyB, if you heard laughing in the background when CHZHEAD called you to brag about her first fish of the day, that was me. I got akick out of thesibling rivalry. She was pretty excited to shove it in your face.

Thanks Bulz. The more shoots I go to, the better I'll get at photographing and videoing them. I realy want to record the events as much as possible from now on. It's good exposure for the club, the sport and the people behind it all. Maybe someone out there in a different area can take their cue from us and give even more support to the sport. It sure would be nice to have more clubs out there promoting the sport AT LEAST as much as we do (as a club I mean). That's what it's all about, IMO. Suppporting the sport we're all obssesed with.
