I just spotted that article this morning and read it before logging on.
It very nicely showsa fullmenu of conservation efforts and cooperation between several different groups to achieve a greater goal than any one could attain by themselves.
It really shows how bowfishing's role contributes to the overall approach.

Christine, Just read your article. Nice going, especially representing us. I have always wished there was a good place to get rid of the carp. I just dump them for the coons.
I really liked you comment about missing with people watching. How true , how true. When I was out at the fishing club last week I had quite an audience watching, and of course I missed every shot. Was quite embarrasing to say the least. See ya Saturday at breakfast.

Great article! I always like reading your stories, but this was a VERY well done article. I wish we could all do more things like this for our lakes and waterways. What a good day that was.
