I hope everyone had a great day shooting lots of fish. My wife, daughter and I went house hunting (bold text for Christine's benefit). The first place we looked at was the waterfront property. Right off the bat we walked the property, and look what my daughter found at the edge of the creek. Past it's prime, but there were a bunch of them. It sure wouldn't break my heart to walk out back and catch a dinner of fresh fish and morrels.

Aside from that, nice creek, great lot...horrible house. Too much "hillbilly renovation" for me. The guys who remodeled this place should have his tool belt taken away. The problems with the house just weren't enough to make up for the great location...so back on the hunt we go.

Well, the weather didn't cooperate as well as we would have liked, but I think everyone had fun. That's the most "slow" walking I've done in a long time. And I think those soggy, wet, and cold weather tactics worked. I'll let someone more official post results.

I made the mistake of saying the weather couldn't be any worse than last years.... Oops.

Never tempt mother nature. [:-]

Anyhow, I had a great time and it looked likea good time was had by all. Again, Grant put on a great tournament. I'm already planning on attending next year's event.... and next time I'm not going to get outshot by Steve, Mark, Chris and his Dad, Snuffy and JohhnyB and everybody else who shot a fish.

I'll try to get some pictures up today.

Grant, I think you really did put on a good shoot. I have not been this tired in a very long time tho. The shoot was very well organized, you can tell when it started on time, and ended up on time as well. Would have liked to have shot more fish (where did i hear that before). Again nice job and see ya next year. Was alsonice to see old friends and put some faces with the screen names..Will be nice to float around on a boat next weekend. weather's got to be better....johnny b.

Thanks KBI. It was good to see you, and Johhny B, Carpsniper and all the rest of you guys that I haven't seen in a while again. That was the toughest conditions I've ever bowfished under. But it sure was fun spending time with everyone, from breakfast before to lunch (or I guess we could say dinner) after. There's alot of good people associated with this group.

Thanks Grant for putting on another great shoot. I hope you're around next year to do it again. I'm planning on being there for sure. Everything was very well-organized well-planned-out. You did an excellent job.

And thanks to my partner Mark S. I hope we'll get a chance to shoot together again soon.
