It's not bad Bill. A little weak, but it's alot easier to draw and hold the compound than the recurve (I can hear Kendall now...). I have no pain, but I'm not pushing it. I'll be out shooting with you guys in no time. Don't think I can do an all-nighter any time soon, but I'll take what I can get now.:D |

You know Kendall, I've always been in your corner as far as Quillgate was concerned. I mean the proper name for those fish is the quillback carp-sucker. They're carp! I still don't see why they didn't count that time in Shelbyville.

The smallmouth buffs and quillbaks actually do look quite similar, especially when you don't have them side by side for comparison. I go them confused once in Bowman's creek. I knew they were legal, just not which exact species they were. |

Well the wabash done it to us again it was slowwwwwww and pretty muddy water visibility was poor but Snuffy and I managed 3 nice buffs all at about 10 pounds.......

Hey there counter guy. We took Mikey and Drew out to the Illinois River for their first taste of Silver/Bigheadfever. The CIRFCU took a beating from the silvers pounding the railings. More than a few made it through. In fact the first fish in the barrel was a silver that Christine head butted out of the air into the barrel.

Kendall and I hit Evercarp.... er I mean, Evergreen last night. Fried the troller pretty quickly into the night so we ended with only 8 carp.
The muskyswere out again. Saw one that had to be over 4'. That was cool. |

went to vermilion hills fishing club this afternoon for just a couple of hours. Seen a dandy that caught me sleeping, had one pull off and got another one the same size. and missed one. So you can add a whopping 1 to the count.

I got out yesturday and walked the creek by my house. I got 6 commons. Had a few pull-offs, but I was happy to hit them at all. Visibility was 3-4 inches. The creek gets murky after a little rain.
