New Mexico Private land hunts
Hello all,
I have hunts available for Spring Merriams Turkey, Black bear, Antelope, Archery and rifle elk for this year. These are all fully guided, fair chase hunts. All lodging and meals are included with each hunt. See below for more information on the hunts.
Spring Turkey, 3 days, 2 birds, fully guided, all lodging and meals are provided. These properties have not been hunted in 7+ years, so I have a huge amount of mature birds on the properties. Hunt dates are April 23-25 or April 24-26, 2016. These are Merriams turkeys. You will be the first hunters on the property for the year. I can take 2 hunters. Cost $1100 per person, plus license ($74) and tags ($100).
Black Bear, This is a 5 day, fully guided hunt with all meals and lodging provided. Hunt dates are August 20-24, 2016. This is a spot and stalk hunt. We have mostly color phase bears in the area, so if you are looking for that chocolate, cinnamon, or blonde bear, we have a very good chance of taking one. I can take 2 hunters, Cost $3000 per person, plus license ($74) and bear tag ($260).
Antelope, This is a 3 day hunt, I have 2 DIY permits that you will have the entire ranch for yourself. You will be the only hunters on the ranch for the year. Season dates are Saturday, August 27-Sunday, September 11, 2016. Choose your 3 consecutive days. Lodging is about 10 miles away in Clayton, NM. $1200 per person, plus license ($74), and tag validation ($292).
Archery Elk, This is a 5 day, fully guided 1 on 1 hunt with all meals and lodging provided. Hunt dates are September 13-17, 2016. This is right in the middle of the prime time of the rut, bulls should be extremely active and very vocal at this point. This is going to be a very fun hunt. $5000 plus license ($74) and tag validation ($557).
Rifle Elk, This is a 5 day, fully guided hunt with all meals and lodging provided. Hunt dates are October 3-7. This will be at the tail end of the rut, the bulls are still bugling and receptive to calls. This is a 2 on 1 hunt. $6000 per person plus license ($74) and tag validation ($557).
