Looking for information about DIY or Trespass Fee Western Hunts
I'm looking to do a trespass fee or public land hunt next year (2014) in one of the western states (not positive which one yet), I'd be interested in Elk, Mule Deer, and/or Antelope. If I could hunt two different animals in the same trip that would be even better, since it's a pretty long trip from PA to any of those states. I'm just in the planning stages and any information or recommendations I can get would be greatly appreciated. Thanks In Advance.

You did not specify what weapon. I hunt Roosevelt Elk on the Pacific Coast with archery equipment in Washington State, public land, OTC tags.
Area is 3pt+ or antlerless, with blacktail deer and black bear open at the same time, mix in a little salmon fishing...
Not a real "trophy" hunt, but if you want to hang out with some traditional archers and see some old growth forest...
