Looking anywhere from Texas to Illinois. If possible need to keep it at 2500 or below and needs be be a rifle hunt/muzzleloader/ shotgun. Would be great if it had lodging close by, but not a necessity. Because of some serious health issues I have this hunt means a lot. Hoping it will be something he can remember. I do not have to pull the trigger just want to spend time with my son. He will be 16 this September so this is his surprise. Any feedback or information sure would be appreciated.

Take him down to the YO in the Hill country of Texas or a similar big acre place down there and you'll have a ball. Most of them can tailor it to your budget and you can have a different choice of what you want for the money. Just do a google on the YO and other Texas places and go from there.
