Default 6 Day Kansas Trophy Whitetail Muzzleloader Hunt - Save $500

Pipe Creek Guide Service in Minneapolis, KS is looking to fill a few early season muzzleloader spots for 2012. As of mid-July 2012, leftover tags are still available. The tags are going fast so these hunts are being discounted $500. Bow and rifle seasons are fully booked.

Hunt on 13,000 acres of private land spread out on 44 different farms in and around the Minneapolis, Kansas area. We are located about 25 miles north of Salina, Kansas off of interstate I-135. We hunt in units 7 and 8 on private land in Ottawa, Cloud, and Saline counties. We have over 250 ladder stands, 27 box blinds, and lots of ground blinds in wood-lots along river and creek bottoms, with crops weaving in and out of these bottoms.

We have archery, black powder and rifle hunts for Whitetail Deer. Our country has a lot of cropland, with woodlots and wooded creek bottoms mixed in. We have a good deer population, with some very nice bucks. This past season our deer hunters had 80-85% opportunity on 140+ plus bucks, with a number of really nice bucks taken. Our Spring turkey hunters also did very well the past two seasons will all hunters bagging 2 birds each.

Archery season takes place during the pre-rut and goes through the rut and post-rut. Rifle season generally starts at the tail end of the rut/post rut. All bowhunting is done from tree stands overlooking trails leading to and from bedding/feeding areas. During rifle season you will generally hunt mornings and evenings from tree stands or good ground blinds.

These hunts include accommodations in our new lodge with all the comforts of home. It has 4 bathrooms, 3 fully furnished kitchens, separate bedrooms, and a processing room with freezers and a walk in cooler to take care of your meat. You shoot it and we take care of the rest! Just bring your own food and hunting gear. All the linens and bedding are furnished. Transportation can be provided if needed. We have extra 4 wheel drive trucks here for hunters to use if necessary. We will drop you off and pick you up from the stand locations if needed as well. I feel strongly that our success is due to the fact that I’m very serious about wind direction. We go over stand location and wind direction twice a day with each hunter on a one on one basis. This is done so that I know what the hunter is seeing on the farm each time he sets. We then make a plan to get the hunter in a stand with the correct wind for each hunt. We may move the hunter as well to a new farm depending on his information and his feelings toward the deer movement that he has seen.

THE SEASON DATES FOR 2012 ARE AS FOLLOWS:
