New Kansas whitetail ground producing bucks over 180
WOODLAND GUIDES
Kansas whitetail, muledeer, archery antelope, eastern turkey, and rio grande turkey.
Fully guided and "do it yourself" hunting.
Whitetail:
our fully guided hunting is re-opening for (4) more hunters this year with a newly leased property in kansas. for the last 2 years it has taken 2 deer in excess of 180, and 2 other deer over 150 with only 2 hunters hunting it. our other fully guided ground has been producing multiple deer over 160 up to 200 on trail cams and deer on the ground by our management process. these deer are typical to the area that we hunt as this year every deer shot was scored between 140 and 160 inches. our success rates remain very high as we only allow as many hunters to hunt the ground as it can successfully support. many of our past hunters asked to take calls as refrences, we encourage anyone that wants to hunt with us to talk to some past hunters to get an idea of what to expect with us.
09 fully guided whitetail: 2700 for a 4 day hunt, lodging included with no trophy fee
09 "do it yourself" whitetail or muledeer hunt: 675 for a for a 5 day hunt, lodging not included with no trophy fee. (fully booked pending new land leases)
Eastern/Rio Grande Turkey:
our eastern turkey hunting is located in a habitat rich enviornment that produce huge numbers of turkeys every year. in our area the turkey population can grow at 175% per year depending on the specific habitat for that ground. one property is holding over 600 turkeys in a 1/4 mile section through the winter, this is mostly due to the booding habitat in the area and he abundance of food. most properties average 100 turkeys per mile depending on the specific habitat in that area. in the spring these groups split up giving us nonstop action as we call to a number of different toms on many different properties.
our success rates for turkeys have been maintained at 100% success. last year everyone shot 2 birds with one exception of one hunter who shot one large rio grand to mount and stopped hunting. each tom shot last year had a beard over 10 inches, 2 toms had 3 beards, and 2 toms had beards longer than 12 inches.
09 fully guided turkey hunt: 450 for only one person, 400 per person if more than one. we offer this in a 3 day hunt with a 2 bird limit, lodging is not included. most stay at the log cabins out at the lake.
09 do it yourself turkey hunt: 200 per person. 4 day hunt with a 2 bird limit. lodging is not included.

this deer was killed by our neighbor this year, we had been watching this buck along with 3 other very large deer go by a single stand every day.

this is another deer off of the same spot. this one is considerably larger than the one that was killed by the neighbor. in total we found that 4 deer would go by this stand every day that will score better than 160.
