RE: Kentucky Whitetail Hunts
Update 10/16/08:
We had four hunters out this evening. Over 50 deer were seen, one guy watched a 145-150 make a scrape but couldnt get a shot. Another hunter had a 165 broad side at 35 yards wide open! That hunter was a guide and the guides dont shoot any bucks until end of season when all the paid hunters are done. Smaller bucks are starting to mess with the does a little bit as the weather has changed and it feels like huntin' season!

10/19:
A big buck missed this morning by a hunter. Muzzleloader at 70 yards! Guy was sick but it was certainly a clean miss. Big buck had been working a scrape line and followed in behind about 20 does that had come thru.
The bucks are really starting to show signs of pre-rut activity. Another 7-10 days and things will be going hard as long as the temperature stays down the way it has been.
