It's not too late to book a trophy Texas Whitetail Deer hunt. We have openings on the following dates available on our 40,000 acre ranch near Albany: November 12-15, 19-22, and 24-27. These are prime pre-rut and rut dates where the bucks will be roaming looking for hot does. We also have openings on December 10-13 and 16-19. These are post-rut hunts where the bucks will be actively moving looking for foodto refill after the hard rut and due to the colder weather. Hunts will be done from stands over food sources/travel corridors, rattling, spot and stalk, and or safari/truck style, based on the hunters' preferences and the conditions at the time. [/align][/align]Rates for this 4 day hunt are $2450 hunt fee plus $1500 kill fee for a trophy buck (10 point or larger), $850 for a management buck (8 or 9 point), or $250 for a cull buck (7 points or less). These rates include lodging in our well equipped facilities with all the amenities, first rate meals, full service guiding, and airport pickup and drop off. Because this is a Managed Deer Land property in partnership with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, hunter will use our deer tags, so they do not have to use their own, though they do need a license. We have managed this property for over 20 years for large numbers of mature trophy bucks. Opportunity rates on mature bucks runs as near to 100% as you can get. Hunters will have a great hunt and have a great chance to take a 130-160 BC buck. [/align][/align]We also have openings on our 15,000 acre ranch near Spur, Texas on November 12-15 or 19-22. These are also prime pre-rut and rut dates. The rates and kill fees are the same as above. Lodging is in an authentic, refurbished ranch house. Hunters will not see as many bucks here as our other ranch, but the bucks are bigger, with trophies scoring 160 BC and up taken every year. Last year a buck over 180 BC was shot. [/align]
Hunters can also harvest 2 does and 1 meat hog on these hunts. Licenses can be purchased at the ranch and every detail will be taken care of.
