I have 2 spots available for bow hunts along the great Arkansas River in Southwest Kansas. This area will produce some great deer. Deadline is approaching fast so you must act fast on this. These tags will be easily drawn. This hunt is a 5 day hunt with all your meals and lodging included.
Your choice of hunt dates during the season of
Sept. 22 thru Dec. 1st or Dec. 15th- Dec. 31, 2008
Cost is $2500 or $2300 if you book both hunts.
I can also do a hunt with no meals and lodging for $2150.
You can't beat that for an area that produced a 195 inch buck last year.
Visit our website for more info.

The arkansas river is public property. why pay to hunt what the state owns The arkansas river is public property to the ordinary high water mark as of 1861 when Kansas became a state. it has nothing to do with the water level.the ground bordering the river is private only to the ordinary high water mark. Most of the cover in the river is below the high water mark.

Sure the river bottom has public rights to it for recreation just like every river in the statebut the actual land is private. You can't step foot out of the river or your trespassing.
