Default Looking for elk....

Want to plan a archery elk or moose hunt for next fall. Any outfitters out there or good recommendations from other hunters would be great? Thanks in advance!

Here is some information on an archery outfitter in Alberta that I work with.

Northern Monarchs is a small personalized outfitting business dedicated to the serious bowhunter. There is no bigger challenge than that of harvesting a big game animal with your bow. It is the small details that make a bow hunting experience successful and it is those details that Northern Monarchs pays extra attention to.

We are located 75 miles west of Edmonton, AB on the North side of Chip Lake, home of the world record non-typical mule deer. You will hunt the foothills region of the province and the transition between the farmland and the foothills of the mountains. The land is a mixture of croplands between large tracts of spruce and pine forests with rivers and swampland.
This area is known for large deer, moose, and elk. We can provide quality hunts for all these depending on tags availability, and will tailor the hunt to your requirements.

If you decide to book a hunt Northern Monarchs will provide the following services:[/b]
1. Pick up and drop off to and from either Nisku, AB or from the Edmonton Airport.
2. All transportation during the time of the hunt.
3. Accommodations are in a cabin which is the main camp or they me be from spike camps as necessary to give you the best opportunity to get your animal.
4. All meals during the time of the hunt.
5. Field dressing, caping and quartering of game.
6. License and tags are the responsibility of the hunter and must be paid for prior to the hunt.
7. A 50 % deposit is required to book any hunt and payment should be made by certified check or money order.
8. Balance is due 30 days prior to the start of the hunt and should be made as specified.
9. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to another hunter or used for the following year.
10. Cost of the hunt is fixed, no refunds if the hunter fills out or leaves early.
We have three zones and several private properties available which allows us to place you where there is less pressure on the animals. Our guides know these areas intimately and can provide you with the best opportunity to harvest the animal you are after. We have consistently provided quality fair chase hunts with great results. Let us help you find that wall hanger and you can take him home.

Archery Hunt Prices[/b]

We have 31,000 acres in Western Colorado that is archery-only! We have world-class mule deer, and some of the most vocal bulls in the world! Hunters can expect to see and here numerous bulls during this5-day bowhunt! This bowhunt cost is just $3500! This cost includes all meals and lodging. Elk tagsare over-the-counter in our unit. We operate in game management units 41, and 62. Success rates here are extremely high! We live in here in elkcountry, and understand what it takes to get it done! I work for Primos Hunting Calls, and consequently my hunters get to preview new products that aren't even on the market yet, and I also put together a nicePrimos package for all that book with us! You will also receive 1-on-1 help learning to call to elk, and understanding what the elk are saying to you!
On all of our hunts we require a 50% deposit to reserve your spot with the remainder due 60 days prior to the hunt beginning. We do offer some real good group rates on parties of 4 to 6, as 6 is our maximum number of hunters per week. If you book 4 to 6 hunters the cost is $3400. I know it's not much of a break, but this hunt cost is already way low for what you will receive, a once-in-a-lifetime hunt! Let me know if you have any more questions, and please feel free to callus anytime. Thanks,

John, we offer elk hunts in several places. Depending on size wanted we have a New Mexico elk hunt that is economical for this day and age and our last 2 bow hunters this past season both tagged out on their bulls in 3 days on this hunt. Very good outfitter and pretty high shot opportunites. Below are the 2 elk our bow hunters took on this hunt this season. Not B&C class but good representative Bulls.
