I just built this website, and would like a little feedback from some unanimous hunters. www.blackprairieoutfitters.com
I hunted this land twice last year with a friend, and it was some great hunting. The owner decided to publicly sell hunts this year for the first time, and if what I saw was any indication, there will be lots of great hunting. Biggest mistake I made was not getting a free hunt thrown into my web design fee.

Hi Bill:
I took the time to explore the website.
The content is great and it looks like a place one would want to hunt.
The website seems to be a little too busy for my old eyes.
The background effects with trees, brush etc: are a great example of your website building skills, but it distracts me from the object of the exercise, which is to look for a place to hunt.
Also the site shows up as being too wide on my browser. Maybe mine is too old, but other sites do not overflow in width on my computer so perhaps you need to check the width dimensions you are using to make sure they are compatible with systems other than the one you are using??
I do not intend this to detract from your skills or good work but simply offer it as an observation. So please do not take offence.
My webmaster skills are minimal but I did own a H & F lodge in Canada for 21 years, so I do have some idea of what sells to hunters and fishers.
Ihadmy firstwebsite for that business in 1995 which is a long time in the world of websites. Over the years we re-built it 4 or 5 times in an attempt to get it right.
I went through a whole gambit of what works best. I had music, I had crawlers, I had flashing specials when all of these were the latest hot items.
My guests and potential guestsfinally convinced me thatclean and simple were better. We provided lots of information but managed to highlight the meat and potatoes for those in a hurry.
In the last few years I had received many complements on the quality of the site.
Even though I no longer ownthe lodgeand website, the new people have hardly changed a thing.
I will send you a link if you want to have a look.
Regards
Terry
