I have noticed with many call company's there is limited quality control for stretching the reeds. Guiding hunts for many years I wanted better quality. This was a large factor in my desire and choice to produce and sell my own reeds.
Selling gauged stretched reeds takes more time than just hand guess stretching with a hope that it plays. best range in sound for every hunter.
