I have a custom made knife for sale. I call it the Muley. It is made from 1/8" D2 tool steel. The 4 1/4" cutting edge is a modified saber grind. This makes a very robust blade that is a great slicer. The handle is 4 1/4" long, made from walnut, black micarta, and nickel silver pins. It is very generous to make it easier for cold, gloved fingers to hold. The balance is right at the index finger to prevent hand fatigue. There is some jumping forward on the blade to help with detail skinning work.
The knife comes with a leather sheath bearing a deer track and my logo.
