as soon as I get back from the xmas holiday travels Ill be jumping in the forge to finish up a custom bowie and Ive got a couple of other ideas kicking about. If anyone wants any custom work with my present schedule I can have blades finished by begining of march.

Very nice looking knives. I think these knives will sell very fast for ya. How long does it take you to make 1 knife on average? just curious.

the time to make a knife depends greatly on the type of knife. the average skinner or camper takes about 20 hours of work start to finish, plus the sheath work, more ornate work like a bowie would take about twice that. and at the extreme end theres knives Ive got about a months worth of work into, doing stuff to them like engraving the handle, doing wire inlay, tooling the sheath etcetc.
Im at my gals family right now, been gone about 4 days, so if anyones trying to contact me off list, I should be home in a couple days

welp I made it home! now I get to shovel out the forge building, my car, the woodshed, the two driveways, etcetc lol hope you all had a merry merry
