I personally own a Lieca which I bought about 4-5 years ago. Not bad but my dad uses a Swarovski and I would rather use his if I had to pick. The Lieca spits out the range faster, basically as fast as you hit the button as the Swarovski takes a second to read the range as you have to hold the rangefinder on target. However, the Swarovski is muchmore reliable. Under snowy overcast days the Lieca sometimes wont read, just goes blank while the Swarovski works in almost all weather conditions. Before the Lieca I had a bushnell, wouldnt carry that if you paid me. I do mostly rifle hunting so if Im using the rangefinder, its long range situations otherwise I dont even bother getting it out. The other brands may provide OK under bow range???? Havent used any other brands to give an opinion.

In an attempt to further confuse...I have also used a number of brands and would only use the Leica. The glass is great as is the swarovski but I really like the size and speed of the leica and I use it for bow and shotgun hunting in the midwest as well as rifle hunting out west.-Spend the money to get the best one you can afford and in my opinion it boils down to two choices, both of them a good decision,, Leica or Swarovski
