The box does not list it an waterproof/fogproof.

The regular action series aren' waterproof or fogrproof. Nikon is sort of an "all or nothing" company when it comes to waterproofing. Either their products are totally waterproof or they aren't anything. They don't typically refer to them as water resistent, repellent, etc...

This is a porro prism binocular, yes?
